This morning I got my hands on the anticipated Body Shop Colour Crush Nails collection, and I can say that after only an hour of swatching and playing around with them that I'm very impressed!
The colours I received are :
640 Mint Cream
This is the perfect blue mint, it has a really creamy opaque formula that really only needs one coat.
520 Hemp Over Heels
I can honestly say I've never seen a nail polish quite this colour before. In the beginning I wasn't sure if I loved it or hated it, but now I can definitely see it becoming one of my staples! It's a slightly thinner formula than the Mint colour and will need two coats for a totally opaque coverage.
510 The Body Shop Green
Exactly what it says on the tin! This is a true interpretation of that classic body shop green that we all know so well! Again, slightly thinner formula that will take two coats.
330 Rosy Cheeks
A mid toned, rose pink. The formula of this one is similar to the mint in that its thick, creamy, allows for a quick and flawless application and only takes one coat!
130 Red My Mind
A true, mid toned red. Perfect for that summer - autumn transition! A great staple in any polish collection that will suit anyones skin tone!
The best thing about this collection is that it is totally vegetarian and vegan, which is obviously a bonus! They're also completely free from formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and camphor. This polish is dermatologically tested and free from those harsh chemicals present in so many polishes, but the body shop absolutely do not compromise on quality at all, these are great polishes! These are just five of twenty four shades so theres loads to choose from!
Also in this collection is the Sweet Almond Oil nail varnish remover. It's a non drying formula (big thumbs up from me), and is acetone free. It does contain almond oil, soya oil and fairtrade sugarcane essence as well as other lovely things to help look after your nails and cuticles!
And FINALLY there's a cute dotting tool for all your nail art needs! With one side for dotting and one for striping, this is such a handy little tool for your arsenal!
The polishes retail at 7.50, the remover at 8.95 and the dotting tool at 8.95 so they won't break the bank either!
