I have finally returned from obscurity to revive the blog! I've had a super busy few months with college (which I graduated with a first class honours degree... wahooo!!) and trying to get Enigma the Agency off the ground and have had no time to blog! Thankfully everythings settled down a bit now, although I've had a busy few weeks with the Nyx Face Awards! Today I'm bringing you a review on these two fabulous products from Artistry, a powder foundation and a great summery nail polish.
Nail Polish in "Pink Delight"
This is a great pink polish with some very very fine white and blue glitter. The formula is super smooth and when I tried it out it lasted a full 3 days without chipping, which has to be some sort of world record for me! The glitter isn't "glittery" as such, rather it adds an amazing high shine finish to the polish. Definiely the aspect of the polish that I'm most impressed with is the finish, it's so glossy and shiny and stayed that way for the whole time I had it on. That's pretty unusual as I find most polish looses its shine after a day or so. The colour is really soft and pretty and looked great on my super pale skin, although it would absolutely suit darker skin tones too. I can definitely see it being a staple for my toes during flip flop weather!!
Powder Foundation in "Chiffon"
This is a beautifully smooth and soft powder foundation. I don't ever wear powder fondation alone as I have very dry patches on my skin so it doesn't really sit properly on me, so instead I wore this over my normal foundation. It has great coverage and is really mattifying, I only had to touch up once in a whole day around my super oily nose so that's a huge plus!
Another thing I love about this foundation is that it doesn't look powdery when its on, and when I tried it on my mother (my favourite guinea pig) it was indistinguishable from a liquid foundation to the eye, and feels a lot lighter. It also has SPF20 which is a huge plus in the summer! The final thing I enjoyed about this is that it was a great colour for me! I'm suuuuper pale and really struggle finding foundations light enough for me but this was perfect and not even slightly orange! Big thumbs up from me.
