Last night I was fortunate enough to attend a sneaky preview of the Lush Christmas collection! Oh yes, the dreaded C-word. Thankfully I adore Christmas so I was delighted to nibble away at mini Christmas cake and have a goo at some of the unreal Christmas products, even if it is only October! This years collection is the perfect blend of old favourites returning for another season and some completely new products!
There's LOT of stuffto go through here so I'm just going to dive right in and show you some of the soaps and gift sets, and then I'll show you all of the amazing bath bombs and bubble bars that Lush kindly gave to me!
The first one up is Reindeer Rock. How cool does it look? It's inspired by Scandanavia and smells of berries and has anti-inflammatory properties.
Baked Alaska smells really fresh , like lemon and grapefruit with a touch of Ylang Ylang. Definitely a fan of this one as it's so colourful and fun!
Apart from looking AMAZING , Snow Cake is a rich creamy soap that smells exactly like Marzipan so it's perfect for getting into that Christmassy mood!
Last but not least of the soaps that I'm going to show you is Yog Nog which is hands down my favourite. This smells delicious with hints of nutmeg and ylang ylang! I stocked up on this one last year so was delighted to see it come back in!
The gift sets from Lush this year are as beautiful as always, and there's so many different options that there's surely something to suit everyone!
My favourite sets were definitely the Aladdin inspired ones, so rich and decadent looking with all the reds and golds!
The sets start at €11.95 and go all the way up to €220 so there's also something to suit every budget. Lush veryyyyyy kindly gifted me the "Winter Wonderland" set and now im about to show you what was inside!!
First up is the Candy Mountain bubble bar. This has that classic Snow Fairy scent which sadly I am not fan of, but if super sweet vanilla is your thing then definitely give this a go!
Next up is the classic Lush bubble bar - The Comforter. This is another sweet one that smells of blackcurrant and makes amazing masses of bubbles.
Next up is a new bubble bar to come out this year - Bar Humbug. I appreciate a good pun so I love this one, and its warm liquorice scent means I'm dying to give this one a go!
The Star Dust bath bomb is another new one to come out this year. This one has a much more gentle scent of vanilla and pinewood but isn't overly sweet. This is a good one to try if you like to steer clear of overpowering scents.
Always a favourite, the Butterbear bath bomb is back again this year. It has a gorgeous vanilla scent and heaps of cocoa butter to soften the skin. There's also a gift set out this year of a cute tin filled entirely with Butterbears!
Twilight is one of my all time favourites. You just can't beat a classic lavender based scent, plus this one looks absolutely beautiful as it dissolves.
Frozen is another new one this year , and is unusally fresh and energising for a winter scent. It's based on notes of Grapefruit and Neroli.
Yoga Bomb smells really unusual, and is apparently scented of olibanum and ho wood. I don't know what either of those things are but they definitely smell good.
So White is another classic bomb from Lush. This fruity bomb smells like fresh, clean apples with a hint of rose.
Lord of Misrule is another one of my favourites. I can't even put into words how amazing this smells. The official explaintion is patchouli and black pepper but the overall smell is just beyond delicious. It also has popping candy in it and turns the bath an amazing deep purple colour!
This cutie is the Father Christmas bath bomb, he turns the bath bright green and smells like candy floss.
Ceridwens Cauldron is the only bath melt in the set. I've never tried a melt before so I'm very curious to see what it's like. It looks amazing in it's little muslin cloth and smells like sandalwood and oats. Again this is a really gentle smell so it's not at all overpowering at all.
I mentioned earlier how obsessed I am with the Yog Nog soap... and now there's a Yog Nog bath bomb too. Deeeeelighted. This one got a bit bashed around on the trip home but it's usually a lot prettier!
Snow Angel is a super moisturising melt that has a LOT of glitter in it, so prepare to sparkle like disco ball!
Cinders is another favourite of mine. It's beautiful warm cinnamony scent and popping candy centre is perfect for dark winter nights.
The Luxury Lush Pud is a gorgeous lavender scent and such a fun looking bomb! I cant wait to give this one a go.
This little dude is the Peeping Santa bubble bar. He makes mountains of strawberry bubbles so this would be a great choice for kids!
Holly Golightly is a cinnamon based bubble bar that smells so warm and lovely, and again this one is absolutely chock full of glitter so I'm sure it'll make an interesting bath!
The Magic of Christmas reusable bubble bar firstly is by far the prettiest of all the Christmas products this year and secondly smells like cloves and spice and all things nice.
FINALLY the last one was the Golden Wonder which I used last night and forgot to take a photo of first. It was a gorgeous lime scented bomb full of really fine golden shimmer and turned the bath a really pretty turquoise. My skin was so soft afterwards that I can't wait to try the rest!!
I hope you enjoyed this very long but hopefully informative post, I'll be back soon! Thanks again to Lush for having me last night and the amazing gift, I'll be smelling amazing all the way up to Christmas now!
