Well hello! As I mentioned in my last blog post, I recently started an amazing new job - with Charlotte Tilbury! Absolutely loving it , the products are absolutely to die for and the girls are a gas bunch so I'm having a ball in there! I get a lot of questions about Tilbury so I thought over the next few weeks I'd go through some of the products and looks here on the blog! First up is the incredible Dolce Vita look. This is beautifully sultry and glamorous, but is equally as stunning pared back for a smokey daytime look!
First up, let's talk eyes. The star of the show is undoubtedly this beautiful eyeshadow palette. These three seperate shimmer tones means the palette is really versatile, much more so than some of Charlottes other palettes which typically feature three shades of the same tone. And can we just focus on that glitter shade please? How unreal is it? This one is especially fab packed on top of a gold base (check out the Colour Chameleon in Amber Haze) for a super amped up night time look.
Next up we have the Feline Flick. This super thin shodo pen makes a perfect winged liner unbelievably easy to achieve. Try leaning the pen on its side to get thaat super straight edge, and then using the tip to get that sharp point! This pen also dries super black and doesn't flake or smudge.
Finally for the eyes we have the Full Fat Lashes mascara. This is a fab mascara, it doesn't transfer on to my eye bags like nearly every mascara in the world thanks to my freaky long bottom lashes. It also dries to an intense black and not grey and is great and thickening but doesn't give you horrible spider lashes. Huge thumbs up from me!
Now, let's talk lips. This lip is the perfect nude, it's nice and neutral but doesn't pull orange on me like a lot of nudes tend to do on my super pale skin. Let's break it down into its three parts. First we have Pillow Talk, an incredible pink nude liner that looks just as well on its own as it does under the rest of the lip. And can I also just say this pencil STAYS ON! It won't budge until you take it off which is always a bonus!
Next up, Penelope Pink. Gorgeous nude colour with just enough of a sheen to make your lips look plump but not overly glossy. Every timeI wear this lip I always get loads of questions about where its from so I take that as a huge compliment!
The last part of this glamazon lip is the Lip Lustre in Seduction. This is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l and thisis coming from someone who up until now has hated gloss. It feels comfortable on and really steps the lip look up making it look super luxurious and glossy.
Finally, the gorgeous blush in Ecstasy. This is hands down my favourite of all of Charlottes blushes, I just can't get enough of its coraly goodness! It's so soft and flattering on , and has a tiny hint of gold lustre to it which adds a beautiful warmth and glow to the complexion.
E Fin! That's everything, I hope you enjoyed having a good nosey at the Dolce Vita look! Next up in the Brand Focus CT series will be The Sophisticate so keep your eyes peeled! Also again in the spirit of full disclosure, I dowork for Charlotte Tilbury but these products were a birthday present from my handsome and charming boyfriend (who absolutely NAILED it in the gifts department this year). Cró has also started his own blog at so be sure to head over and check him out!
