Right so I'm fully aware I'm very late to the party, but this is what happens when boredom strikes after a very long December working retail!
I picked up a few bits from the collection on launch day, and from what I can gather it sold out v quickly altogether. I'm not surprised, it's the first collection in ages that properly caught my attention, and that's only 50% due to the fact that it's coated in glitter.
Queen Mariah has served us well, here's some pics and descriptions of the bits I got! My poor camera was having an awful time focusing on the packaging because of the glitter, but I tried my best!
First up is the turbo fab lipstick in "Dahhlinggg!". It's a very light peachy pink, and to be honest I absolutely hated it the first time I tried it on with a pinky nude liner. Having since switched to a darker nude liner (Charlotte Tilbury's Iconic Nude, if you're wondering), I'm OBSESSED. Totally fab natural nude perfect for throwing on with a darker eye. Not wild about the little butterfly, but how could you not love that glittery bullet??
Next up we have "Rainbow Interlude", which is a Lipglass that's more or less translucent with a pink and silver pearl. Really nice over any lipstick, although in general it's pretty unremarkable and probably the only thing I wouldn't have bought if I could go back.
I also got Dreamlover which is another Lipglass. It's peachy and has a lovely mix of pink and gold glittery bits. It has more depth than Rainbow Interlude and I just generally prefer it, I've been wearing it over the lipstick for a super high shine finish.
Finally, "Touch My Body" (of course..) is a body powder that's a pretty deep coppery tone and absolutely perfection over tan. It's pretty handy for evening out dodgy tan areas and I've been wearing it loads! I'd maybe give it a miss if you're a paler gal who wouldn't wear tan as it is quite pigmented and pretty dark.
And of course, the swatches!
Touch my body, Dahhlinggg!, Dreamlover, Rainbow Interlude. Until next time!
